Are you interested in entering or learning more about the field of sustainable / regenerative agricultural production? Wondering what it’s like to be a farmer? RFC’s Farmer Training Programs offer immersive opportunities for aspiring farmers and farm-curious folks to gain hands-on experience, build skills, network, and learn fundamental concepts.
Apprenticeship Program (statewide in Oregon)
The Apprenticeship Program offers connection to seasonal employment and training with partner Host Farms in Oregon. Apprentices also take the Beginning Farmer Educational Event Series.
Regenerative Farming Fellowship (Rogue Valley only)
The Regenerative Farming Fellowship is an entry-level part-time education and training opportunity with RFC and partner farm staff offering hands-on mentorship and experience at our partner farm in Central Point, OR. Participants also take the Beginning Farmer Educational Event Series.
Beginning Farmer Educational Event Series (Portland, Rogue Valley, Willamette Valley, and statewide options)
The Event Series includes online and in-person classes, farm tours, and discussions for the aspiring and beginning farmer and runs April through October.
